The large "batwing" pickguard? Never seen that, but you may want to try checking pix of
SG Melody Makers. They had white PGs, so it may give you some idea.

Cream doesn't sound like it'd look too great, but tortoise-shell or that pearlescent "mother of toilet seat" white might look cool.

Thanks for your input! :) I was thinking Cream just because my nut, switch tip and binding are more Cream than White...:hmm:

Red guitars look a lot better to me with cream plastics than black. Go for it, man.

Not SGs, but these pics show the difference between the two combos:

To me it's no contest. Cream all the way.

w666 has a good idea. Remove your existing P.G., and trace it onto a sheet of cream or manila colored posterboard, cut it out and try it on the guitar.

Leave it out where you can see it and catch a glimpse of it as you enter or leave the room. You'll get a good idea of whether you'll like it or not.

Looks cool! :thumb: I like it, I might try it on my Standard.

Looks like a spat,,,,you know "spats". Those little white covers that were worn over dress shoes back in the 20's and 30s. They covered the laces and snapped under the bottom of the shoes, mostly worn by big time gangsters.
