    Curiosity finally got the better of me and I carefully took the pickguard off my '64 SG junior, so that's what the colour was like!

    That tends to happen when you remove the pick guard. Problem is, sometimes the pick guard shrinks when removed, exposend the lines when replaced. Hope this doesn't happen here.

    I don't think I looked under my pickguard, but here's what was under my sideways trem when I converted to the VibroStop...

    ...and what you're seeing is faded somewhat still!
    Imagine how dark it REALLY was when new!

    I strongly advise NOT to look up said Borat swimming suit if you don't already know what it is. :laugh2:
