I have never been to one. What are they like? Ive been to boat/motorcycle/gun shows but all had big crowds. I missed a recent show here in Coumbia Sc but I saw the parking lot. Not a big crowd. Are guitar shows small? For some reason they don't get much advertisement in Colymbia. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a guitar show until very recently.

just depends on where they are and who puts them on.

The Columbia guitar show is not one of the better ones IMO....different co. that the Charlotte-Spartanburg and Philly shows.

If you are into stringed instruments, it is a good way to spend half a day.....might come away with something cool.

The Charlotte show is advertised as "vintage". if I take a 1950s archtop neck and body is this a type of show where I would meet guys who are into old Harmony jazz guitars and might want to swap something? Ive saved this relic for years yet never restored it. I hate the letting this thing just sit.
