Our wee Dolly! (I may have already posted this picture... if so, I apologise)
High on catnip...
My girls love them some Myson. That's what I call him. My son. Real name Jinx.
I was doing some work in the yard yesterday and my cat Pippin jumped up onto my plant stand then looked up at the roof of my shed. It looked like he was going to jump so I got my cell camera out and got some photos. Silly cat.
Second to last: kitteh disapproves of your spouse.
Slowly getting there
The feral cat that is always around loves Gefilte Fish. Many years ago, I bought 4 large jars of GF for 10 cents a jar. I opened a jar and attempted to somehow prepare it so I could eat. No Go. 3 jars left. I could not open the jars by hand. The lids were way stuck. Now what? I like thinking out of the box. I used an oil filter wrench. It was still hard to open the jar. The cat loves me.
In the second photo it looks like he/she is doing a Bill the Cat impersonation.
When I got married, it came with a cat. Good kitty. One day, the cat was doing what I thought was hair ball upchuck. It wasn't that. Something was really stuck. The cat was in severe distress. What to do? I had watched enough TV to know the answer. I held the cat on my chest facing forward. I gently placed my hands on her rib cage and did the Heimlich. The bone shot out of her mouth just like that. I saved the kitty and lots of money.
Ninja cat has got into a habit of running up the blinds when she hears the pigeons!, the rainwater collects in the gutter at the corner of the conservatory & they scratch around in it to drink, It's funny as hell as she runs the full length of the house & scrambles up the blinds to get at them lol.
I fear the next visit to the vet will be her last. Daphne has had digestive problems since we adopted her(thats why no one would adopt her) and she is now 12 years old and seems to be reaching her end.She has no pain yet so until that starts she will continue to be a happy cat and well taken care of..She likes the sun.
Oh, that's the worst. Good for you for doing the right thing though.
Tiffany, my aging shelter cat and long time companion! Bought as a kitten for my daughter she passed her to me when she (the cat)
got older and wasn't 'cute' anymore. We said no to another kitten!! 16 years old this year and still looks this good!
Op, moved in 2 years ago.
Phoebe on alert.. and Invisible mode.
This one adopted us thanksgiving 2015, Sheba she is!
My Porch and the feral cat. I just saw little kitty walking around my Van. The cat looked at me. That's a first. The cat needed more Gefilte fish. I did that right then. I checked the bowl and it was all gone. The cat was walking away and he turned to me and licking his chops. It was me and my Feral.
