John I don't make any prescriptions for anybody else I guess I am just lazy that way. I enjoyed that Eats shoots and leaves book. Sentence construction is important of course and again I am not as diligent with that either as I should be or as others would like. I do not like the notion that some ones ideas should be dismissed for the lack of punctuation or unorthodox delivery. Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy is my example of the sort of prejudice I feel can be perpetuated by marginalising those who can not comply with the conventions set down by the powers that be. Discrimination against regional accents for instance is to me all part of the same control mechanisms acting subtly to create artificial hierarchical and elite structures. I don´t find you question at all offensive its a valid point well made.
