    Hi there everyone.

I have put this thread up for all who attended yet another successful Bridport meet to post pics, vids, or merely just have a chat.

Firstly I'd like to take the opportunity of thanking all the lovely people who came down and supported out annual meet with some great playing as usual.
Liam for being a star and supplying us with a great PA system and working tirelessly in helping others throughout the entire event. Vin for supplying us with fantastic posters and for all the effort he put in.
Sue for organising set lists for everyone and keeping the testosterone charged males in check

Blimey..There were more people in my garden than ever this year and thankfully the weather was gorgeous.
Only a couple of hiccoughs at the BBQ..
Tinkerbell the Rottweiler stole Gedd's sausage from the bun out of his hand as he was looking the other way. Ty the Rottie pissed on someones sandals, so my daughter had to wash them and Peppy the pug simply went from one person to another licking them to death in the hope a titbit might come her way and Inka the German shepherd behaved impeccably as usual.
Got to go out in a min, but will be back later..

    Phil...

Cured the stinkfoot though, so at least something good came out of it. ..:dude:

I got home about an hour ago and have uploaded around 340 pics to my computer. Now all I have to do is sort through them, process them and post the best ones up.

It's been a great couple of days getting reacquainted with forum members that I met at the 2011 bash, and meeting many new people. Thanks to each and every one who was in any way involved.

As I say, it'll take me a while to sort through and process the pics, but in the meantime here's Phil (standing with back to camera) preparing to lead the band into a cover of Slayer's "Eyes Of The Insane...

    Got home about 4pm.

Brilliant weekend! Thanks to all. Phil and all his family (and menagerie) for a glorious, rural and quintessentially English countryside BBQ on Saturday. All the forum guys who made it along - a great bunch to spend a weekend with. Liam for bringing all his gear and setting up of said gear. Being able to put faces to names for some 'newbies' to Bridport.

Made me realise how much I missed by not going the last couple of years.

Some excellent playing from all involved and helped most definitely by Fuzzy and Toby who are great fun to play with and 100% professional. Fantastic players. Lovely guys too.

Some amazing guitars to be spied too during the two evenings.

Really missed seeing Cookie. Brilliant that a mate of his and his buddy came down from Andover to represent him though. (Hope you're feeling better BTW).

Well, back home a couple of hours ago.

A fantastic weekend in all, thanks to everyone who made it so good.

A gentle journey, taking it easy and let all the impatient other buggers overtake me, from West Bay to Hounslow.

Fard is now on his way back to Scotland. I dropped him off at Whitton railway station and then went to my brothers for some barbeque, some hugs from my nieces and a gentle doze in a garden chair.

I'll post more later but it was a very good weekend.

It was good to meet Wods and family for the first time and a huge, huge thank you to Paul (12watt) who is unfeasibly handsome and unselfishly became the designated driver to go to Phil's and back.
What a great chap and a bloody good guitar player too.
    Thanks Paul.

All of the players did an exemplary job and the two little chaps (9 and 11) who sang/played 'Titanium' were just amazing, hairs on the back of the neck time.

A big thanks to Liam who did such a great job on the PA. Thanks Liam, a pleasure as always. (Good playing too!)

Fard and The Hooligan went to the bank and they changed Fard's funny money without demur, so no smiting with stout sticks was needed. They were therefore not taken into custody at that, or any other, time, bitterly disappointing for some who wanted a hint of scandal to make the weekend complete......

Someone else will have to corroborate this but rumours that The Bridport Arms has a new ghost, were rife at breakfast on Saturday.

Apparently a blue coloured, naked, shambling, tattooed, incoherent apparition, was seen wandering the corridors, moaning, scratching and looking for his 'weskit'.

Personally I think this may not be true.... but......

More later when I have uploaded some snaps to my PC....

The biggest disappointment of the weekend was that Cookie-Boy was taken rather ill and missed the whole thing.

My sympathies to you Cookie, as I know how much it means to you and all the rest of us.

    You were greatly missed.

    Get well soon mate.

Thank you Mark, that is very kind of you.

I loved it and I hope that it showed.

But without Fuzzy, Toby Tom and Paul it would not have been possible.
