I cant stand it. Who is the wretch on the couch ?
Fvck off, that looks well sharp!
Ok, Ok. FFS
Some song suggestions, starter for 10.
Not necessarily in this order, I can provide vocals providing I stick to rhythm. Any that ppl aren’t keen on happy to drop or do unplugged. It’s just stuff off the top of my head that I know (most of) the lyrics to, i.e. just suggestions.
If you hate them all we’ll bucket them, but I reserve the right to do 2 or 3 on my own in the car park
If I can play them, then you can be sure they are uncomplicated. They mostly lend themselves to acoustic work really, so I’ll leave the suggestions for “louder” stuff to the "rockier" ppl.
Look forward to your erudite and constructive use of the red pen.

Edited, subsequently informed that "ZE List" is not a song list. Sorry.
Too enthusiastic again.
Well, you have the first night all for your self there, Wods!
I'd venture to let you know zat "Ze List" is the running order for performances for each night compiled before the mayhem commences.
Vasco has been doing that for all these years, but since he'll not be around....
Told you I was thick. Edited
Not! Keep that list, you can always play some of those at the Crown Inn or at the BBQ!
Not! How were you supposed to know...?
You're right there, Louie!
Thanks for putting me right Tom, much obliged.
I could make some noise on an acoustic behind you on some of those songs, if you want.
I'm in the middle of learning hotel california, or the solo anyway. Would love to do that but don't know if I got the time to learn it.
Would love to do All Right Now by Free and Already Gone by Eagles but would need someone to sing. Any takers?
I know the rhythm part for Hotel California, but the vocals are way too high to sing.
All Right Now might be doable, I'll give it a try tomorrow at band practice and I'll get back to you.
A good kick....
aaah - never mind....
Or half a dozen cold pints and a pack of Marlboros and I'll be crooning like Johnny Cash
Let's see what you girlfriend prefers.....
Same here, I believe its played capo on 7th fret on the 12 string SG double, which I think is Em. I can never get my fingers to fit there either.
I have always played it Em Am G D F C Dm E7. Never met an audience that noticed. At least its singable (for me there)
Solo is not straight forward tho, was n't my domain fortunately. I have a 1275 and its just about manageable down there.
Edit. Actually I say I have a 1275, but it's the one guitar that belongs to my wife. "That's nice she said, lets have it" She does nt have to string and tune it tho.
Funk #49 anyone? Again, would need a singer...
I intend to show up, probably just spectating if that's ok.
I'll be popping over to a few sessions as I can. Looking forward to meeting you all.
I played it again today along with the original. The way I've always done it is Bm F# A E G D Em F#.
Yep, would work with the shapes I mentioned, but a capo on the second fret, which as you say makes for the above.
I cant sing that high so I lose the capo and go down a full tone. The only difference is on the last chord I play a 7th.
Anyway, the 1275 now has new strings and I'll be bringing that along. More on the main thread as this is for headcount.
