I tried the 59 Bassman Pedal, Pretty good , nice , but I can get similar effects using a TS 9 and MXR six band GEQ, so I couldnt justify dropping a 160 bucks in to it, when the cash was tight

I own and gig a Boss '59 Fender Bassman pedal. I also own aan Ibanez TS808 which I gig. I seriously doubt that a TS9 and the MXR will sound close. I love the Bassman pedal and it's the one and only overdrive pedal of theirs that I've ever rated. It's worth every penny to have one now but the price will drop if you can wait.

I don't like the other Boss Fender pedal at all.

it's a digital modeler . I like using modellers on their own.
