You do some wicked work Dude! I like your style!
I love these things. I point out, however, that I might have missed the new postings as they were not in the threads to which I subscribed to keep my ear to the ground.
Tight, how could you not love Surf Green?!
a couple more. You can see the rest of the pics on my site in the gallery page. When the pages turn if you click on the picture a larger higher res pic will come up. Hope you guys dig it! I still working on the color my camera takes. The colors look more vivid on this than they really are... it's more of a subdued yellow.
I have to say that this is one sweet Killa Axe Dude! It looks like one serious rockin machine.!!!!!
Thanks Roman. I take that as a huge compliment because a: It's coming from an awesomely talented builder, and b: that's exactly what I was shooting for.
Tort on TV is the stuff of legends.
One that is actually for sale for a change! I'm working on two of these right now. One's gone via custom order (that's you JL), but this one is up for sale. It's got lots of upgrades and should be ready to ship out within about 1 week. Here are the specs and a few pics to follow. The grain shows through much better in person than in the pics.

Oh ma' GAWD!!! You're killing me Mr. Mayes!!!
well I don't want to kill you... just separate you from a little $$
Got a few questions about leather strap button washers and what the heck I'm taking about. Here is a pic to explain. Big thanks to Bob Schell at Brookwood leather for the help with edumacatin' me on how to make them. Everyone check out his awesome straps. SWEET straps handmade just for you at a more than reasonable price. Tell him John Mayes sent ya.

man someone actually laughs at what I say and not me? O course you can use it
Guitar weighs 6.9lbs without bridge or strings (add a few ounces in there)
Also forgot to mention in the title that this is serial number 001 for bombshell guitars! Could be a collectors item one day.
Bridge should be in on thursday.
Surf Green is not the first thing that comes to mind as a Doublecut Junior color, but it sure does work!
strung up, and rockin. Still some tweaking/polishing/setup, but it's almost done! Get it while it's hot!!

Beautiful. Great job. What kind of grain filler did you use? I'm about to try TV Yellow on my Special build.
