Hit me with your recommendations and tell me about them.
Only one I know about is Cowtown.
Cowtown is cool, but a bit small. They have all kinds of stuff though, from vintage to boutique, I would also be a bit weary if you're going to be walking or taking the bus, it's kinda in the ghetto. J & E guitars looks cool but I've never been, same for Ed Romans shop and AJ guitars. There honestly ain't a lot to choose from out here.
There's a pretty big GC there. I went into there onetime and found about 15 R9s for sale along with R8s, R0s and R7s. This was about 7 years ago though.
Its still there, at the end of the strip, past Mandalay Bay in the Towne Center plaza.
Local pawnshops can be good at times too.
Don't bother with Ed Roman. It was "by appointment only" the last time I was there. Time before that they had virtually EVERY guitar behind velvet ropes with a "Don't touch" sign/policy and all of the employees were ruder than an old maiden aunt.
They seemed to have a policy that customers were to be chased away !
That's the one! In that (new) shopping center.
That place from pawnstars
LOL! I remember this when I lived there and went there a few times. Felt more out of place there, then at any GC.
Their stuff is gaudy, and they're rarely there. I remember when that place was a dump, and they weren't on TV. The old man is a douche.
This is good to know. There's one place like that here in NYC. **** that place.
You can still find a nice selection of those in the GC Platinum Room here. The last time I was in that GC, about four weeks ago, I looked in the Platinum Room and saw seven R9s, four R8s, four R0s, and a 68RI Custom.
I went in there last week, a friend from out of town wanted to see it.
They had a 1952 Les Paul in excellent shape, all things considered. Very playable, too. A little beyond my means, though, at $17,000 . . .
There is Sam Ash on Maryland parkway, RM guitars on Spring Mountain rd, JE guitars on sunset rd.
In Vegas, I'd be looking at pawn shops. No advice for you.
C'mon. Name names. Roman guitars is supposedly the dooshiest place on Earth.
Is this bump for real? What timing
And who the hell are you?
