I am building a guitar and I was wondering what you guys think is the best glue to use. I prefer the glue to...
    Be strong and last long
    Not be noticeable (dries clear)

If any luthiers could help me out with this problem that would be great.

    Thanks in advance,

Search. I'm sure it has been covered. Most will say Titebond or hide glue. I think most people use titebond these days.

Luthier Mercantile International, Inc(LMII) sells their proprietary glue. It simulates all of the characteristics of Original Titebond, but dries clear. Many pros use it successfully. O'L (I've never had a properly prepared Elmer's White Glue joint fail. It, too , dries clear-that is when I use it.e.g. veneer sandwiches).)
