Ive been on this hunt for a while now, that four eye fuzz looks very nice!
I was quite pleased with this one when I tried it out at my local shop. I own their Highway 77 distortion with the "top-sider" mod and it is now the basis of my main sound.
Unfortunately, video demos are nearly non-existent.

I love this thing. It's simple and it gets its point across very very well...
Muff Fuzzes are more overdrives than fuzzboxes but sound great nonetheless. What year is yours?
With a clean signal it's definitely more OD crunch than wooly fuzz, but if there's already dirt happening on the amp then it can sound pretty MUFFish. I use it to boost a Tube Screamer into a clean amp and the tone is tremendous.
I bought mine new in 1983, so I guess it's from the late 70s/early 80s stable of EH stuff.
Just curious and checked the pot. 1980.
All of the old EH pedals have date codes on the pots like this...
## = year
** = week
Hm, yesterday i went out after reading the previous post by Ermghoti on the MI Audio NEO fuzz to give it a try, and i have found a winner, its $200 but this is my next pedal without a doubt. I think its right up your ally aswell Jonesy, black keys tonez all over, and its Aussie MI Audio keep impressing me more and more

After searching around and listening to quite a few video clips I picked up a EHX Little Big Muff in like new condition with box and paperwork for $50. I think it is going to give me all the Fuzz Tones I have been looking for. Just bought it tonight so I should have it sometime next week and will try and make a video when I get time
I saw a video demo of a Mid-Fi Glitch Computer fuzz pedal. They are hard to find, but sound like the "real deal". I'm going to try to get my hands on one.
Good choice Jonesy. Dan uses a muff for most of his fuzz. He also runs a booster for solos and pushing it a bit harder.
get a univox superfuzz if you can!
best fuzz ever imo.
I have to say my fox rox hot silicon is the best out of any of the ones I have had, for traditional fuzz face stuff. The large beaver is the best muff clone out of any of the muffs I have had, hands down bar none.
I keep trying different ones I see at the GC and SA... no reason for me to leave my Dano French Toast.
I roll the tone back just a touch on my amp and there's no noise to it at all and it's got a great classic Fuzz sound, flip the octave switch for even more cool tones. Best $30 I've spent on anything guitar related.

Hey, I just got my EHX Lil' Big Muff pedal in the mail yesterday and I have to say that I am really happy with it. I used it for about 45 mins last night and 30 mins this morning. It gives me all the Black Keys Fuzz Tones that I wanted and more. When I get some time I plan on making a video and I will post it here.
This one is pretty expensive but it sounds amazing!!!
