    For my money, I ALWAYS glue the fretboard on before carving. Usually the curve of the neck goes slightly past the glue joint so I have a smooth curve all the way around as opposed to a smooth carve that ends at the glue joint, followed by a fretboard edge thats flat and perpendicular to the fretboard top.

    Not sure how one can visualize a graceful carve without the whole neck/fretboard being there....

    Had 10 minutes to myself this morning. Jeesh.

    I hung a new light over my other workbench because more light is betterer :) and finally mounted my parrot vise for the first time.

    Did some sanding and scraping today! Very therapeutic.
