Hell yeah, Slash is something on guitar. Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging him with the post you quoted. The "sum is greater than the parts" comes to mind.

Definitely. GNR for me is Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven. I liked UYI too, but AFD is really my favorite. My favorite GNR song is "Paradise City". I love the leads in that song.

Based on my live experince I would even put Dio above Freddie Mercury. I have seen them both in one week and Ronnie was way better. Based on the recordings Freddie tops Dio because of his versatility.
Miles Kennedy is missing in this list, and no Axl should not be number one.

Who voted on this? Since Dio and Dickinson are in there you'd have to assume there were a lot of metal fans polled - so where the ****'s Rob Halford?

I think he's in the "gay metal frontman" ghetto.

Rose was a great singer and excellent lyricist at his peak. That peak occurred about 23 years ago. But when his voice was fresh and he was not smoking heavy, that lad could sing for sure. Best ever, not a chance.
