[Ask] Identify Gibson Pickup

    Hi there, i'm new here, thank you so much to help me
    i recently bought Gibson pickup, the seller said that the pickup was gibson 498t, but from what i see from website the 498t was 4 conductor, but mine was vintage cable (only 2 cable).. But he said that he bought this pickup from ebay, the seller said this pickup was taken from Gibson lespaul custom shop
    Please help me identify my pickup

    Some pickups that are installed at the factory only have the vintage cable

    +1. If that's the proper resistance reading, it's the real deal.

    Many of them don't have "Gibson" stamped on the back, either.

    So, you mean it could be 498t? Even if it was vintage cable?
