Anyone Tried The Keeley 1962 or the Oxblood Germanium pedals?

    Generally I like Keeley's stuff a lot.

    Whenever I'm curious about a pedal I simply buy it used, try it, and then move it if it doesn't suit me (usually at little to no loss). So you might as well buy them and see what they sound like with your rig.

    Having said that, I've never tried the Oxblood, but I had a 1962 & 1962x. I ended up moving both of them as I felt that the Analogman Prince of Tone got me that 60's British tone much better. Keep in mind that I play Les Pauls through either a Carr Rambler or Carr Mercury, so my set-up is probably different than yours. But when I need that type of tone I reach for my POT.

    Tried a friends 1962x .. excellent Marshall sounds, however I slightly prefer my original Marshall Gov'nor pedal, but if I didn't have the Gov'nor, would definitely be making the Keeley purchase
