I thought I had found a good buy https://item.mercari.com/jp/m956881772/ so I asked "From Japan" to purchase for me. They responded saying "The store/seller does not meet our supplier requirements" now when I look on the site I see that it has sold. Am I being paranoid or can someone tell me that I have just been unlucky. When I filled in the form on the "From Japan" site it accepted the url so I thought that it was good to go.

If your shipping agent has them blocked i'm guessing they already did you a favour.
Course i tend to look at the bright side of things.

Do you know what Bacchus model that is for sure ?? Just curious is that a MIJ or elsewhere.

Philippines model is my guess but probably a nice guitar with the African Mahogany body/neck.

Correct wulfman, I thought it was a good price and worth the risk. Bacchus and Momose Vs are hard to come bye and I understand that Momose will not be building any more Vs until Oct. Always on the lookout for a bargain.

Not a huge fan of Mecari, myself. It's basically Japanese Craigslist for those who aren't familiar. Problem is, anything good basically is gone incredibly quickly, so you've got to be constantly watching, or just get lucky. For those of you using a proxy, that puts you at quite a disadvantage.

Paranoid boy again. Took some time but found a New Momose Korina V in Japan, asked the shop (wowma) if they would sell it directly to me and they said No. That was on the 3rd May, so I went through " From Japan " and requested they purchase it for me, that was on the same day. I made the payment on the 3rd May and got confirmation that they had received my payment on the 8th, a bit slow but that was OK. Today 15th I get an E Mail telling me that the Guitar is not available. Perhaps it is me but this seems confusing, a whole week after receiving the payment they tell me the guitar is not available... now need to wait until Oct to see the spec and price of the new batch from Momose.

Fromjapan's model is not good comparing with other competitors.
For example, I am using hoyoyo.com . I can visit mercari or fril in their website and don't need to provide a lot information by myself. It is just like I am buying directly from mercari/fril Japan( http://world.hoyoyo.com/mercari~index.html ).However, the website is a little bit slow when I use their mercari function.
The purchasing speed is ok, and I don't need worry about proxy service problem...What's more they don't charge for leaving message in mercari, so I can ask them to bargin for me, which will save me a lot money and time.
I think other websites provides service same as hoyoyo, maybe some of them.
