Yes, indeed. I don't remember which tv show but I saw a story about the bond between the autism child and the horse~ It was awe and amazed me~
I've never experienced working with children that have autism~
Waynesmith, I wonder what about ADHD children? Will the child be able to get out of shell during the bond with a horse?
If not, do you have any knowledge which type of therapy that adhd children will overcome with it?
Born with 50% hearing in my right and 75% in my left. Years of loud amps and open pipes have left me with tinnitus and even less hearing. In a group of peole, I have to read lips.
WEAR EAR PLUGS, kids. Don't be like me.
LoKi, I agree with tez~
I wonder did you learned how to read lips when you were small child or lot older? I learned sign language at age 2 and read lips at age 3~ I also wore hearing aids at age 2~
I learned in school, otherwise I didn't learn.
Curious, have you learned in sign language?

That is Ignignokt from Aqua Teen Hunger Force... probably the funniest albeit strangest thing I've ever seen on televsion.
My favorite line from the show is where he says 'Did you hear that Denver? Or should I turn it up for you?' and then he flips the old double deuce. Hahaha
Anyway... sorry. Way off topic. That last comment just reminded me of it.
hey gg!! I been losing my hearing steadily since '87.I was active duty Army and each deployment cost me some hearing.....Army medically retired me in 2004 for a bunch of cuts and scrapes, but, the VA helps so much its unbelievable. Its unreal how many people I know who have such terrible obstacles to overcome.....and they are the ONES WHO ARE ALWAYS SMILING!!!
GG, I had my left eardrum ruptured in '70, and lost hearing in that ear, but, I feel the music if that's makes sense, it's hard to explain, glad to have you on board, great forum, loaded with so much info
