Told ya he was good ;D and now I'm excited about the video XD what guitar was it you sent in?
I brought in my 2016 Gibson Traditional. I swapped the stock harness for a MSSC harness. No switch or jack though
I picked up the guitar yesterday. It plays and sounds great. Along with the harness he did a setup and added some new knobs and thumb splitters
Really happy with Dave's work. I'm looking forward to doing business with him in the future
Here is a couple pics
Reflectors and thumb cutters look great.
Here is the video it was just uploaded
I also decided to remove the pickguard I think it looks nicer without it and that's the way it's staying
Do you notice any difference from the upgraded wiring OP?
The volume and tone responds much better at 7-10 and at 0-3. At those ranges with the old wiring changes in volume and tone was not very noticable. The treble is also more present but I think that has to do with how it's wired not so much the parts themselves.
Truthfully though the Gibson wiring is not that bad and I doubt that I will do another one. But man what a difference in my epiphone les paul custom. I did the Epi years ago with same company the only difference were the caps. I used the sprauge vitamin Q caps instead of the bees
