The way I do it is a little different but it seems to work fine for me. At imgur, under your user name, in the drop down menu, select images, (not "Submitted Images") and then select the pic you want for the forum, and left click on it. The varying codes for the image are on the right, I select the BBcode and copy it. As a side note, at the very bottom of this list of links for the image there is the size that can be selected. Because most of my pics are high res and huge, I select "Huge Thumbnails" and THEN copy the BBcode link. This can then be pasted into the forum thread for others to view. Hope this helps.

Well that worked. For anyone else having trouble, I wound up right clicking on the picture and choosing "properties" and pasting the URL from there.

Since it worked, here's a shot of the whole family

Thank you sir. I've come to really like it BTW, so it'll hang around for a while.

I would have sworn there was a spread sheet of what Ibanez tremolos would work in which Ibanez guitars. As I recall it also mentioned what mods would be needed to. Not sure if it was on this site or a different one???? Anyone remember that?

Ok so, I played my first gig with the RG last night and I have to say, it sounded great. It was fast and smooth, and bends didn't "fight" me, unlike my S540 which feels like it's strung with rebar. Also, it cut through the mix better than any guitar I have. I still have the stock pick ups and, despite people saying they're junk, I really kind of like it. So now I have to really consider if I want to swap the Air Norton in. I really don't want to lose that cut through but would like to "tone" down the highs just a bit. I know that's probably a conflict but....

So I can say there is definitely Ibanez love with this one.

So I'm trying to find out what bridge is on this thing
    [IMG]
Ibanez just lists it as a double locking bridge. I thought it was a Floyd Rose copy but apparently I was wrong. I got one of those tools to set intonation made for a Floyd Rose but it doesn't fit, the locking screws don't extend out far enough for the tool to hook onto. I'd also like to know what bridge it is so I know what bridge I can use to replace it with little to no modification, but since I don't know what I got, none of the many on-line posts on what bridges fit in what guitars help.

    Anyone have any ideas

The new "double locking tremolo" bridges from Ibanez are weird. They look like a Lo-TRS series bridge, but they have the extended string lock screws and not the low profile ones.

This is an example of a Lo-TRS

The knife-edge styles are the same.

As far as what you can replace it with, probably nothing. An OFR would possibly work but the bridge saddle radius would be way off.

I have refinished my RGA32 a bit... and I'm planning on getting a higher end Ibby soon! Any tips for models that I can get for 400-500 bucks used? (I don't mind older guitars, should be an RG, nice wizard neck, no trem)

In '86 I remember I wanted to trade my CAR for the original green GEM at a local music store. It was the first I ever saw of it and it was signed by Steve Vai, at a hefty $1600.00 at the time. Plus, it had thing called A "MONKEY GRIP!!"!
It turned out I would still owe them $700.00 so it was a definite no go. ..ahh...the teenage years.

I saw the set of the three of these types available as a reissue recently. I'd still like to have them just to close that '86 chapter in my life. I've always liked and still like the original three.
