1977 Destroyer - I was 18 when I bought this in 1980 - NOS. The area rep for Ibanez found it for me in a Mom/Pop shop just south of Philly...
Finally got around to taking a few pics of mine. ArtStar AS-80, MIK. Pickups on this guitar are worth the price of admission alone, the rest is just gravy, but really, really good gravy.
I love Ibanez guitars--especially the ones with the chunky necks--they do make some that don't have skinny necks--check out the SZR's. Anyway, here's another Iceman- And an AF95 archtop If I'd had a decent job at the time, you'd also see my Ibanez Futura (Moderne copy)--but somebody else got it first.
Great guitars on this page. Very nice, fellas. Zontar - if you ever part with that Iceman... I just tried tracking down my old Iceman today. Called the guy I sold it to 12 years ago... then the guy he sold it to 10 years ago... and that guy said that it left the state when he sold it - and he has no idea to whom. Oh well... would have been cool to find her.
I love my RG7420, and I also have a Gio GRX720. My RG7420 has a RG7620 neck with a Seymour Duncan JB bridge and a 59 in the neck.
Here's my only Ibanez for now. I almost bought an ARX 320 (link below)but I found a deal on a used Hamer SATF and got that instead. For the longest time I only thought of Ibanez as guitars for shredders but they really have a lot to offer. I'm very pleased with mine. Ibanez.com | Electric Guitars | ARX320
My new Jet King, with P-90s. It's got its own NGD thread here, with lots of pictures and info if anyone's interested. A keeper for sure.
I like the old lawsuit les pauls. Like the one I am playing in 1976. My first electric guitar. I also like their Artist model.
