:thumb: It'll tide me over until I can get an old MIJ model. :naughty:

Thanks! I'm hoping that it is as cool as I remember it being 12 years ago! :laugh2:

I love my Ibanez Jet King II. I got it a little over a year ago brand new, and now they are not being made anymore (now they have the Jet King III and IV models). I hadn't played it for a while and brought it out last weekend. I'm beginning to think this is my favorite guitar in the tone and looks department! It has such a sweet, smooth tone and the looks with it's chrome hardware are killer IMO! Mahogany body, individual coil splitting on each pickup, and I got it for $199 (usually $299; MSRP $399): Can't beat that! Here it is in the middle of my two Harmonys (my other pic. disappeared):

Back in the 80's. I played an Ibanez Flying V.

The Gibsons of the day were terrible. I wish I had never sold that guitar. I might like to have one again...even if I am not a young punk anymore. I think I will abstain from the red pants though.

That's a beautiful Iceman, Dice! I have a question on the last guitar you posted in your prior post. What model is that guitar and how old is it? I've read that Jet Kings are modeled after a 60's Ibanez guitar, and your guitar and the Jet Kings have a very similar shape:

That is an Ibanez Talman -TC825 model (their top Talman - only made 'em for a couple of years, in Japan). I really enjoy that guitar. I almost sold it a couple of times. I got it in '98 or so.

I generally don't like the pointy IBZ guitars, Sirius - but that one's got some cool.

That's a beautiful guitar! I've been reading the reviews of it on HC (I think I even found yours!), and it sounds like the TC825 Talman is an earlier, more expensive version of the Jet Kings of today.

    I wrote a review! :laugh2:

I'll have to take a look. Would have been 10 years ago or so!!

And, thanks! I remember seeing Christopher Hall playing one (Stabbing Westward) - and I saved for over a year to get it. Mowing lawns and washing dishes. :laugh2:
