I love my 2 Asian guitars. Great necks, great quality, great playability, and great tone! Anyone else? My Ibanez and Schecter. I do love LP's too.

    I have these:

The blue one was my first guitar.

I'm working on selling the grey RG and buying another Iceman. I miss the one I had back in the day. I also had a nice 7 string Ibanez at one point.

I'm looking forward to getting another Iceman, though! :thumb:

I know you're missing the Explorer and the Iceman.

Didn't the Explorer have a PAF in it, IIRC?

I don't know how to resize! :hmm: And don't try and teach me how. I didn't ask and if I did, my excuse would be I don't have time.:laugh2:

It isn't too large a pic - it is just the IRONY of me posting that I really miss my Iceman, and that I'm working on trying to find another - and the very next post "BAM!!!" - Your Iceman!

    :laugh2:

    Wanna sell it? :naughty:

But seriously - we'll find out in about... 14 hours if I have an Iceman coming my way.

It is a Korean IC300 model - binding and bolt neck. Just like the one I had back in '98 or so. We'll see if I can hang on to the winning bid overnight. I'm at $300 right now. There is also a used IC400 (set neck - Korean) for $375 that I have my eye on if I don't win the one on eBay. (I'm expecting that no one will read this and then go bid against me!) Looks like either way I'll be getting one soon!

Yes it did,in the above pic, that is an X2N in the bridge, and a real PAF in the neck.Later, before I got rid of her I installed a Jackson active w parametric EQ in the bridge, but left that PAF in the neck.
the other PAF (the one I originally bought for the bridge pos.) eventually wound up in a Yamaha Pacifica...I dream of wandering into a pawnshop and seeing that old Pacifica hanging on the wall, with that old PAF still in it...for cheap :D

Thanks BMS! (I knew YOU wouldn't - but those "lurkers" - never know!)

SA - I'll be looking for Pacificas in pawn shops from here on out! :laugh2: Here's to hoping that you cross paths with one of them again...

All the ones I've had were really well made. This one I really wish I still had

My third guitar was a white Ibanez Roadstar II. I've always liked them. I like the shape of the "S" series.
