I’ve never known the actual year though. I’ve painted it like 5 times. White, yellow, gold, baby blue and now black lol. Anyone know the actual year from the #? Thanks. Sorry the pics are flipped. They always do that for me here and I don’t know how to change it.

I think I want to change the bridge and controls to nickel. I had it drilled for string through body. Any suggestions for parts?

Thanks for the link. Nice looking stuff but since my guitar looks a little/really beat up lol, I’m looking for nickel parts that are a bit oxidized or aged. I’d like set with the bridge, neck plate and control plate with knobs. I’ve seen some sets on eBay but I’m not sure of the quality.

You can buy a new fender bridge & soak it in drain cleaner. It eats off the shine, then store it wet to get a bit of rust in the corners. (Rinse, wash, scrub after the acid dip.)
