    Very very nice.
I have the poor mans version, a 2006 Gibson SG Standard with Angus Youn Sig pickup installed and a gretsch Electromatic Double Jet with TV Jones pickup installed.
I have seen a few SG's in that era around here and there, but I don't see a whole lot of those gretsch Firebirds out there for sale. Must have been a hard find or lotta luck . Good deal for you there though. Nice guitars and I am a huge DC fan also so I know your mindset with the guitars there.
I for one would love to see a video of you jamming away on them or even a sound sample

Redstone, VERY nice guitars especially the Jet Firebird. Mint condition by the looks of it. Mine was red when i bought it, took some real balls on my part to strip the finish off believe me!

Well, this is a video of me (as Malcolm) in my DC tribute band, playing the Firebird. The "Angus" is playing his all original 1970 SG Standard.

As you will hopefully hear, the Firebird through the right marshal head (for me a 1983 JCM800) nails it (with me spending a LONG time watching and learning the playing style, we were a sucker for the details!).

    Enjoy!

Reno those were both pretty good :D Liked it all, the singer's voice (for a change) was really good.

Thanks ! I know you know your DC, so a good compliment.

I loved playing with this band because everyone took it very seriously.

I agree, most DC tributes consist of a wannabe Angus and everyone else just filling in, usually with a singer who is rubbish. Our band, everyone paid homage to their counterparts, and the back 3 (of which I was 1 of course) always said we are the business, the others are the show.

Our Bon was probably the best in the UK.

    Very Nice Reno!

The singer has a certain Bon-ness nailed.

My old band is my sig (I'm Bon)

Forget a vintage SG, that Gretsch is the one I always wanted to run across at the flea market. :dude: Malcom was the one I always looked up to anyway
