So I just got my hands on a Custom Shop Antiquity Pearly Gates.

    Before anything else, great pickup!

Now I have a question for those of you who owns this set. AFAIK this pickup was supposed to be unpotted, however, it was not until I tried to adjust the polepieces that I noticed there was some wax in there.

Of course this doesn't mean the pickup is fully potted, maybe just some light potting underneath the cover - and the pickups sounds really great and articulate - but I am intrigued nonetheless.

This pickup was not a direct CS order; I purchased through Amazon.

For those of you who own the pickup, how's yours?

    Thanks!

@darthphineas I saw one of your reviews come up in a search on these....

Can you shed some light on these?
