I just really like metal.. it's the best remedy for me to just play some Metallica or Slayer after a bad day.

I currently own a Digitech Metal Master and I love it.. and I just bought the RP350 for effects galore (just to mess around)... but I really want to learn some jazz, blues and classical theory because I like the idea of jamming out to anything.

The SD-1 will give you an cool contrast to your Digtech metal Pedal.
I'll bet you could use it as a booster as well. I have an unmodded one and am constantly surprised how good it sounds through my rig.
