Found this while surfing on ebay: Vintage 60s Gibson SG Standard Guitar | eBay

How is it possible to confuse this with a 60's SG? Or is the seller trying to scam someone? :hmm:

Talk about putting a square inlay in a round........... ah what the heck.

Definitely an early 70's SG...it's tough with older fellers sometimes, their memory isn't perfect but they stand by it no matter what evidence you put in front of them...

for the price he's asking on the opening bid, I wouldn't even bother sending him a message.

Those can be had in similar condition for around $1500 easily.

The re-listed auction closed at $1100.11. What's not to like? Well thought out placement of green gaffer tape to prevent buckle rash. Anyway, it looks like a 1973.
