    its really dangerous paying those kind of prices from a few pics. I hope the buyer had the sense to examine it in person. A skilled luthier could make that guitar today and who's going to know otherwise?

    I'm not saying that I think thats a fake - just that when guitars sell for that kind of money, you've got to put yourself in the fakers shoes - they are going to get made, and people are going to buy them.

    The sellers feedback rating is 2, and they claim they know nothing about guitars. Two very clear warning signs as far as i'm concerned.......

    Yes, thanks to the internet, everyone now pays top dollar no mater what the economy is where you live. It's great to see guitars for sale that you may never see in your own little town, but it feels like I'm looking in a window on Rodeo Drive.

    When a Burst gets $400,000 +, that seems cheap.
