This isn`t mine but it seems a tad interesting.

    a 1995 Harry Quattlebaum '59 LP replica?

FS: 1959 Les Paul Replica and Dell' Arte Selmer Style - Harmony Central Musician Community Forums

He wants 1350.00 + shipping. The interesting part is the pickups shots. Looks like a Patent Applied For. Now 1350.00 is kinda low for a good replica. Especially if it has real PAFs. So I thought I`d post it here and see what peeps here thought.

They are not real PAFs. Gibson 490's, per the for sale thread. The economy ain't THAT bad! :)

I ended up buying this guitar, nashville bridge and all. Got a lower price because I didn't need the pups, I have my own set of Stephen's Design VL's. I bought it because of the quality of the woods used in it's built. There are definitely some other issues, center seam is not closed, no long tenon etc.. At the price I was willing to take a shot. It should get here in 2 days. I'll post a review. In the meantime I'm thinking how to fix the center seam if the guitar plays and sounds good. Any ideas? Fill in the seam with an abalone or pearl strip? remove the top and reglue it? any ideas welcome.

The word replica shouldn't have been used describing this one. It's obviously not a replica, more like an LP style which is fine with me. I was looking for a player with the same wood combination as a Les Paul. I've had original vintage LP's and historics, at this point I just want a good playing, sounding guitar. Since the guitar does not have Gibson on the headstock comparing top carves etc.. is a waste of time. I'll post a review later today when it arrives.

Given it's foibles, it should have at least felt and sounded good at that price.
Seriously though, A guy has to be in forclosure to sell a high end replica at that price, and it would be stripped of all hardware.
