Thanks Dixie. I've just picked up another Studio. I'm going to do a wrapover on this one.

Incredible work! Though not sure if it would be just easier to buy one considering the amount of work but that's no fun now is it? ;)

Does the guitar sound any different compared to before?

You've got to have big balls and some skill to deconstruct a perfectly good guitar like that...

100% impressive all the way through. I haven't seen this much win in a single thread ever.

I notice that Badly Drawn Les has been quiet on here for a while.
Im wondering if he's been secretly picked up by Gibson, flown to the US and then placed in charge of the custom shop in an attempt to save what could be a sinking ship? If by chance this has happened BDL, could you please have a look in the waste bin's at the back of the factory and see if there's any "scrap" guitar's going spare? Im sure a deal can be done. :)
If you havent been taken away, any new's on the Studio with the wrap over tailpiece you mentioned somewhere above???

Badly Drawn Les, can I just send you all my guitars and you'll work your magic on them? I've got a Les Paul Traditional I'm sure would make a great 1960 Standard :naughty:

BDL, guitarist by nature seem to be a bunch of fruity nut loop's. Ive read some damning comment's about some relic/resto job's that I thought looked good, but Ive never yet seen a bad or critical comment about what you do. Im sure if you were to go into business you'd give the big boy's a few sleepless night's.

    Wow!

Badly Drawn Les, I just got here because I got a glimpse of the thread title
in the "New threads" in the upper right corner as I was logging in.
After login it had disappeared so I looked for it and found this wonderful thread.
    Congratulations!
    It is totally awesome!
Not a Bigsby fan myself, but then I also got to see a wraptail which is exactly my cup of tea!
    Beautiful guitars!
Thanks for sharing the evolution of the Masterpiece!

Anyway, I think that more people should see your work.
Gonna go post a link in the Backstage area.
    People gotta see this!
Thanks for a great great great thread!

    Holy freakin' crapballs!!

How is that even possible to get it so perfect? That is simply stunning work. :)

I think my boat could use a coat of paint just to fix 'er up a bit.

There! That's a little nicer looking now.
