    From Site :

100% original 1955 goldtop from the original owner who bought it new when he was 21 years old from Ray Mullins Music in Pawtucket Rhode Island (In the pictures of the guitar I've also included a picture of the original owner at my store last week and a notarized letter that comes with the guitar), very clean guitar that was played very little, not even any fretwear showing, some finish checking on the top and a few other places, back of the neck is very clean, the back of the guitar and neck still have a great rich brown color, the gold on the top has ambered and you can see the original brighter gold color under the tailpiece and pickguard(see pictures), I just removed what may have been the original flatwound strings(still in the case) and put a set of 10-46 strings on the guitar, guitar plays and sounds wonderful, neck looks good and straight, guitar comes with the original 4 latch Lifton case, I've posted many pictures of the guitar that should answer just about any questions.

I was at Mark's a couple of days ago and checked it out. It's a real beauty, but just about $50,000 out of my price range.

Hopefully, in another couple of days I'll post some pics of something that was in my price range!

No mine wasn't quite as nice as the one at Marks. For starters mine was an all-over gold, and was missing the switch ring and original pick guard... I kinda wish I'd hung on to it and not sold it to pay for a new kitchen

    The one on the right.

Are you thinking of this one? How'd you know? Here's my "new" '99 from the VW run...Murphy painted and aged (with a top almost nice enough to be an '07!):

Thanks, RB. I'm not sure why I posted these pictures in the "Vintage LP" section, but who cares...only 4 or 5 of us read this section anyway!

Mark that is a great looking LP. I love the original owner photo, and the letter. That's a great combo of vintage guitar and collector's item. Great find and great pics. If I didn't have a wrap tail LP already, I'd be bugging you for it.
