This another Replica that I had made in Russia. It's based on a 54 LP. I had the top made with three pieces because that's how they were made. The guitar has 50's P90's with Specials covers, Fake58 wire harness/ toggle ring, jackplate, 54 knobs, RS aged tuners, and of course a pigtail wraptail piece and studs. The outside maple came from two boards that were originally going to used for the other 59 but they warped from shipping. The middle piece is the other half of a billet from the 59. The neck and body is lightweight mahogony, the fingerboard is 75 year old Brazillian, and the inlays are from Dave Johnson. I went with the Darkburst obviously because of the way Duane Allmans Burst looked. Hope you like.

What's something like that cost? I really could care less about paying for the name on the headstock.

A friend on another forum that lives in UK has a couple shamrays. Speaks highly of them.

I'd be very interested especially if I could tweak a few specs, like FB radius, maybe even what fret the neck joins the body at.

Mike, I was talking to Shamray about a possible project a while back. You can get basically anything you want, short of a US brand on the headstock. They get real excited if you want something totally custom ie: not a copy of an existing guitar.

    INteresting...

Just curious. I really want a LP Standard type, but I want a few changes.
    10" radius...17 or 18 fret join instead of 16....etc.

Honestly, I'd probably just do an Edwards or somethig though.
I don't play the LP I have very much. (well, now that the F'n nut's getting fixed and it's got some good pups I will).

Helluva value. Heck, I'd have Big Mike put on there in gibson script.

I used the guitar for practice the other night with a 66 Vibrolux Reverb, 84 Tube Screamer, RC Booster. Did very well. We practice in a big Printing shop so I can't go to 11, that's why I use the boxes for overdrive.
