anyone have one of these?went to GC looking for a satin goldtop LP,all they had was honeyburst.i found this worn cherry SG on the wall priced at $619.im really tempted to offer them $600,it was nice and light and couldnt find any flaws on it.never had an SG before and upper fret access and light weight were pretty impressive...

If they're anything like the other worn/fadeds it should be a good deal.

One of the dumbest moves I ever made was selling my faded cherry SG

Local guy is selling a 2008 SG Faded for $450, and I'm on that like white on rice!

Same here. I sold my '08 Worn Brown Faded SG a couple of years ago, and have regretted it ever since... :(

    Here she was...

I have a 2004. Nice guitars. At that price point for a 2017, I'd jump.

SG faded specials are the hidden bargains in Gibson's lineup. I've owned one for years and can say they sound really good as is but if you want even better sound... swap in some 57s and the guitar really comes alive. For $600... you simply can't go wrong.

I had an 06 and I sold it when I bought my Standard. I thought that I didn't need two red SG's. I missed that Faded so much. I saw a 2016 on sale and GC let me use a coupon. $579 out the door. I added chrome pickup covers to the new one just like I did with the 2006.

$579 out the door is a great price for a new one... you did good and like the pup covers... really dressed it up.
