Couldn't agree more. Looks like a 12 year old went to town on it.
Totally agree Frank.
There is aged & there is bogus aged.
As a matter of fact, looking at badly aged Guitars, ages me considerably.
Had to look..................ouch!
Rudi, my eyes!
Looks like one sold.
Hi guys, i'm not really into aged guitars myself, but in what does this one differs with other aged LP's?
I didn't see anything particularly bad on the front. Looks better than almost any prior aged Gibson I've seen. Not really a fan of aged guitars either. The Tom Murphy's were horrible, imo.
The back is and headstock are pretty bad though. Not sure what kind of wear they were trying to replicate on the bass edge of the back.
I like the faded burst and the flame is not over the top.
For $11,700 though, I'd get a Bartlett and have $4k left over...
Brazilian fret board.
Some nice one's due in at HOG!!!
To answer the question (in addition to BRW) the aging is just not realistic, based on what you can see from the pics.
Most real Bursts don't have this type of aging. There are way better options if you want aging.............IMHO.
doesnt even look like gibson aging IMO
I wonder when the fish and wild game dept
are going to bust a move and grab the stash
of Brazilian in the back near Henry’a office.
OOOOOOOOO My brazilian is finally painted.
Methinks the current administration will not do that...and I would further bet Henry cleared it before he pulled it out.
I might consider one of the Brazilian fretboard models if my Skinnerburst wasn't so good. I really have no GAS for another Les Paul since I bought it and haven't played a LP I have liked better since. That was 2014.
Damn dude!!!! NOICE! I just hope they don't ship it USPS! LOL
Love the top mfolet. The bare spot adds great character!!
Nice looking Lester Michael.
I have to ask though, remember all your posts about BRW over the last few years?
Changed your mind have we?
