Found this beauty in Japan, Looks a little like Pearly to Me
Great top! It does have a Pearly vibe. Congrats!
Has a very thin finish on her. Not sure if thats what they call "wet sanded" They also went back to fat 58 neck on this one
Congrats, that's a looker! So, when is it hitting the classifieds? J/k....kinda lol.
Muy Sexual. I like how the burst fades at the butt. Noice.
I see what you mean and I could agree.
But it's its own guitar, really.
yep....that confirms it ....Gibson thinks the Japanese are more worthy than us....
Very nice guitar, let me know if your selling ....
They do get some interesting pieces in Japan that's for sure. Very nice example of that - congratulations!
I have the same spec 2016, although in lemon burst.
The neck on mine is on the thinner side, for a R8.
Nice! Congrats, HNGD and play her in good health!
Been playing her for a few days now and gotta say there is something special about this particular reissue. I've owned 12 from 06 to 2014 and this one has a sound unlike anyone of the others had. Really resonate and sounds awesome at whatever level or what amp setting Ive tried. Have run her through Orange 30, Marshall 800 and Phaez JMP 45 clone and she's a pure sound monster.
You do know that we’re going to need more pictures than that, don’t you?
Hell yeah! Keeper.
Definitely more pictures.
The Japanese market gets some primo stuff. If I had $$ I’d do my Gibby shopping there.
Yea didn't know it was a Hand Select till I opened the case and it had a a second COA showing they selected the top
Good to hear about the 'fat' neck..........a beauty, congrats.
Love the ribbon flame!
I cannot get over this 58. Was playing last night everything from Govt Mule to Old ZZ top and she just is so easy to find different tones with hardly any effort. Something very special about this Reissue that never had with any others I've owned
