    Hey guys!

I am selling this one for a buddy. This is a special run that Musiciansfriend did last year...as you can see, this is a gorgeous Firebird in the desirable Pelham blue finish.

This guitar is completely stock (He bought it to learn how to play, but lost interest). It has been out of the case only a couple of times and is completely flawless.

While the owner hasn't spent a lot of time with her, I have been enjoying how resonate, articulate and well-balanced it is. The neck is a little more full than the standard 60s neck and features a very dark fretboard. Also, it features a lyre vibrola that adds a nice air to the tone and doesn't go out of tune when being used. So not only does this one have the looks, it has the sound and playability to match. :naughty:

It will come in the OHSC and all of the case candy and paperwork from Gibson (including a shot of it in the factory in final assembly).

Looking to get $1700 shipped for this one. No trades please.

It's a killer guitar for sure...if I didn't already have too many, I would have snagged it for myself.

Hey wrongturn, I would need to look into shipping costs to see if that would work for him. Will let you know.

Cool - cheers. Although I am new round these parts, I can prove my credentials and good trading elsewhere for your/your buddy's peace of mind.

It's a shame you can't do trades: I have a nice 1991 Les Paul Classic plain top and a 2011 Les Paul Tradional Plus with a verrry nice top :)

What is the weight and neck size at the first and 12th fret?
I may have to sell my guitar for this...

    Hey man, the weight is 8.06 lbs; .81 @ 1st fret and .86 @ the 12th.

However, the neck feels more substantial than the dimensions indicate...it also balances very nicely on a strap.
