I just finished some "upgrades" to my 2012 Mexi Telecaster and I like the results.

Change the pickups for a set of Seymour Duncan Quarter-pounders
    Emerson pre-wired harness/switch/jack/pots
    Fender locking tuners
    Fender Vintage-style bridge plate
    Rutters Brass Saddles

I did the lion's-share of the work myself (first time soldering electronics) but to ensure everything was correct I took it to Tom Barkstrom at Blues Vintage Guitars. Tom was the head Guitar Tech at Glaser Instruments for years before moving to BVG. I trust him with all my guitars.
Anyway after Tom tweeked the radius and intonation a bit, the axe is awesome. I really like the tone from the quarter pounders and I like the way the three-saddle bridge looks.

Wow, those Quarter Pound Stacks are pretty rare! Have you compared them to the regular Quarter Pounds?

Yea; You get more meat in the stack!.. I guess my mind was on other things when I wrote "stack." Earlier I was considering the SD Vintage Stack and simply got confused. But hey, I'm old so I have an excuse. Anyway, I fixed it. And regardless of what they are called, I still like 'em.

Ahh, gotcha- there is actually a Custom Shop Quarter Pound stack, so that's why I was curious. I haven't used them yet. They are supposed to be like the Quarter Pounds, but quiet.
