1st offer for $1300 takes it...

It's not every day that you run across a Desert Burst Studio, so here's a nice guitar to add to your collection...
I’m the second owner of this beautiful Gibson Les Paul Studio that was purchased from a local music store by the guy before me. I toyed around with it for a year or so, but soon realized that trying to play right handed just wasn’t the ideal for me… since I am naturally left handed. So it’s time to sell this baby to someone who can love it as much as I do.
Since I’m just a part-time hobbyist, the guitar shows no real signs of wear. You will find light scratches here and there, some discoloration on the gold hardware (bridge), along with some slight buckle rash from the guy who owned it before me, but overall, the guitar is in excellent condition. If there are any nicks in the finish, I haven't noticed them. Ever the careful one with anything I own, I always put the guitar back inside its case whenever I was done fooling around with it.
Along with the case (notice the veil?), the guitar comes with the uninstalled pickguard, and the paperwork that he gave game to me when I bought the guitar off of him. I contacted Gibson (via email) just to make sure everything was OK before going through with it, and they told me the guitar is a Desert Burst model made around 2004, just as he told me. The way the grain shows through, you’d think this was a “plus top” guitar, but I don’t’ know that to be a fact. Just look at the pictures and judge for yourself... It seems to look better than your average LP Studio.
Judging by info I gained from my favorite guitar website, I believe this year of LP Studio is "weight relieved," as opposed to "chambered" like newer ones are. copy and paste the link below to judge for yourself.

Sorry, but I only ship within the lower 48 States of the U.S. I cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico. Check my feedback, and bid with confidence. Payment is expected in a reasonable amount of time (the quicker the better), and I promise to ship this out ASAP, and it will be insured. Insurance will be paid by me. The guitar has been gone over with Gibson polish (unfortunately after the pictures were taken the other day), is all packed up with extra care and TLC, and is read to go to the one who chooses the "Buy it Now" option, or whoever makes an offer that I can't refuse.

It's currently on eBay with a Buy it Now price of 1250, or someone can choose to bid it up. Can't seem to move this guitar, and eBay fees have been crushing me for relisting items.

I'm selling this right handed guitar to fund my purchase of a new Left handed Fender Deluxe Strat with a maple neck that I really want, but it doesn't look like that is going to be in my future.

Sorry for the varying prices, but I've tried pricing it up and down to see what works. So far, a whole lot of nothing :-(

Guess he wasn't really interested after all. No response. Oh well... Nice LP is still for sale. Don't be shy, make an offer (if you are in the US or Canada).

Did you really think $5000 might happen?

No, and I didn't expect it to. Just wanted eyes on it, and something outlandish might get people looking. If you noticed, it had a "best offer" button beneath it, where people could bid something a little more reasonable.

Nobody's making offers, so I figured a little creativity was in order. :naughty:

    I meant no harm.

Excellent and reasonable advice, but I can't let it go that low. Besides needing as much cash as I can muster for that lefty Strat that I have my sights on, eBay fees have come into play.

I also paid more than that for the guitar when I bought it, and I've kept it immaculate and pampered it like a newborn. Surely it's worth more than $800. You don't exactly see Desert Burst Studios very often these days. :slash:

While I want to sell it, I'm not desperate for cash. The Strat is just a "want," of mine.... certainly not a need. If I can sell this and clear $1000, I'll consider that a victory.

I hope you get it. I just dumped mine for $800. I lost about $420.

I appreciate it, man. Amazing how low people are trying to go with these things. Other than the absence of binding, they are very much kick @ss guitars and worthwhile LPs.

I wasn't overly found of the pickups and mine had a couple areas in the neck that just weren't quite right. My G0 on the other hand is darned near perfect as far as playability and sound.
