    $1600 shipped/PP CONUS.

2001 Tobacco Sunburst Les Paul Standard.

RS Guitarworks 50's style wiring, ungraded potentiometers & caps.

Pickups are a custom wind I had made for me. I have some Gibson pickups I will drop in - need to check the model.

I have a lot of pickups in my parts bin; if you want ReWind, Guitarforce, Bareknuckle, MHD, we might be able to work a deal but that will increase $ a bit.

Case lock is busted and the case has my old band's name stenciled on it and some stickers. With some acetone you could remove it all.

Comes with the pickguard, which was mounted at one point, so the body has holes for that.

I have a cream selector knob switch if you'd prefer that to the orange one.

I also probably have regular amber knobs, reflectors or speed knobs for the whole thing, I'll have to check. Right now it has amber bell knobs for the neck pickup and reflectors for the bridge.

Strung up currently with 10-46 and they're basically new.

Edit: forgot to note, has Dunlop strap lock buttons - I might have the parts for the strap too and if I do will happily include. The screw for the upper button is stripped.

Could be drilled out and replaced, but I never bothered because I just rolled with the strap locks it has, but in the interest of being transparent I wanted to make sure I didn't forget to note this.

Local folks welcome to meet for a test drive.

    Thanks!

Also should've noted - will entertain trades but not interested in amps ...

Cash is much preferred as I have to get some drum gear for my band's studio space.

Thanks brother. It's hard to let this one go: I cut the majority of my parts on Social Hero's album The Famous with this guitar. It sounds huge, but remains articulate and cleans up really well.

Hopefully it ends up in the hands of someone who will really appreciate and enjoy it.

Too bad you're purging indeed, any axe of mine that ended up in your stable would be an honor.

Hope all is well, friend. :thumb:

Bump: I'd sell for $1400 shipped/PP CONUS sans pickups.

The ones in the photos are a ReWind electric high output set James made me that I'd like to keep.

Get a killer LP and drop your favorite pickups from your parts bin into a quality harness from RS Guitarworks. :thumb:

You said trades considered? I have a pretty much immaculate natural Explorer. Original white pickguard was signed by the members of Fates Warning (John Arch, Jim Mathios and Frank Aresti) so I put a black one on for use and the signed one is put away to go with the guitar. I also have a pair of NOS 50s bumblebee's in the case that go with it also. All paperwork is also included. PM if interested

Here is a pic of John signing it at my house, I have known him for many years before I moved to CT but he lives in the same town as me. Jim and Frank signed it a few days later at the show at the Webster Theater before they went to Europe to headline the Keep It True Festival a few years ago. That's his wife Jeanie getting licked to death by our dog. The TP-6 tailpiece does not come with it, the stock Gibson is on it now

    Hi Northwinds,

Much appreciate the offer, very tempting. And a cool story to boot!

I love explorers but recently acquired one and don't get on with the natural/gold HW look. Thank you for the thought though. :thumb:
