    Nice video and playing. I prefer the sound at around the 7 minute mark for this particular guitar.

    Looks very similar to a 59 I am in the process of buying. 11 screws, however.

    Sorry for being late, but I meanwhile headed south in Europe for some holidays. :) Of course in the clean sound example you are mentioning, the fine character of this guitar comes through better than in the high-gain distortion example before. I used the JCM2000 amp in the beginning because a lot of folks on Youtube voiced their wish over the last weeks that I play this kind of vintage guitar over more modern or well known amplifiers. However to a certain degree the true character of such a vintage beauty would be better represented by using also a fitting vintage amp (like I did in the clean example with the 1970 Ampeg VT40). :)

    I enjoyed the video so I hope you didnt take my comment as criticism. I own a 1970 strat and play it often through a Fender eric clapton tremolux. Great combo. Agrees very well with each other.
