I've seen a couple of vintage Goldtops posted of late and was asking Lee why we didn't have any up for sale. His reply was that this might not be the time to sell, as it is obviously a buyer's market. So I then complained that we didn't even have pictures of an old Goldie for our Les Pauls guys to look at and he replied, See ya in the morning and have your camera charged up". So, you can imagine my surprise when he showed up with this nearly NOS '53 wraparound this morning. Enjoy, courtesy of your local 'Elk...

I just looked it up, and it's in the dictionary.
A picture of that guitar is the definition.

I'm convinced we have the cleanest guitars in Georgia- now if I could only turn this guitar into a yellow convertible Z06......

Holy crabs!!! That's the cleanest example of a 50s wraparound that I've ever seen, or likely will ever see.
Now I know what will be banging around in my subconscious for a couple days.

Funny thing about this guitar, not only is it the nicest one in these parts, it sounds as good as it looks. Lee gave it a good workout before I shot these pix.

Is that the truss rod tool or is that the Allen wrench for the bridge? Just curious.

I believe it's the allen wrench- it was in the case with the other things.
