The highest (known) Serial Number Les Paul.
Possibly the last Burst made.
What a piece of crap...
Stunning Burst Artie. Thanks for posting the pics. Appreciate it.
Hope it is a good one.
Looks almost similar to my mate’s ‘60 Burst that he sold to Joe B. (Two Suster / Aussie Burst).
Nice guitar in very nice condition.
Thanks for posting!
I thought Corey's 1964 Burst was the last original ever made?
You'll have to take that to Romro.
what about 1 0867 ? where does it fall time-wise?
Gibson says they didn't make any Les Paul Models in '61, so this is obviously an SG.
lol....I am sure they do.
Going from reading/pics from other forum the serial # on that one is 0 8093 isn't it?
man, I haven't been over there in a long time, but now that you mention it, seems like there was something posted later that said it was different???
And it's for sale. It can be yours for a mere $595k!
It was a thrill to just hold it.
Gorgeous guitar, thanks for posting.
I am just going to say it....looks much better in your hands than his....you should take it home.
What an incredible looking guitar. Man I wish I saw her in person
A half million dollar guitar with a heel repair, yet not a single pic of the back of the guitar in the Reverb ad.
Let me check my bank account.
That top is so rich in color compared to most late 60 bursts.
I wonder if it was a special order?
Did anyone snap a pic of the heel area ?
It's quite visible in person. Goes from one side around to the other. Looks like the back of the neck was hit hard, and the heel separated / split from front to back. Sort of like snapping a match.
