‘65 SG Junior - Talk me out of this... or into this?!??

    I'm not 100% sure that the neck is original.

    The head shape is very odd and a Jr must have a stamped logo. If its original, it have some "work" on it.

    You can back off the tone control to kinda of emulate a neck pickup. I do it with my 59 junior all the time. Nice buy! Enjoy.

    OP, don't put a neck pickup in it..play it the way it is and use the tone control and volume together. Get some knob pointers so you can remember exactly where your preferred settings are.. You'll see why Juniors are so versatile! Plus a neck pickup may make your neck joint very weak.
