Here's a Hamer Flying V that I picked up cheap on eBay. I've told my 7 year old that as he gets older this will be his guitar. He's taken lessons and currently has a mini Squier Strat and a 3/4 size acoustic. He complained that he didn't "have a nice guitar like daddy" so this guitar becomes his reward if he keeps practicing as he gets bigger (kinda' hard for kid to hold on to right now!) It is actually a great player and the Seymour Duncan designed pickups give it a nice "rock and roll" bite (perfect for my future rock star). Oh, my son has nicknamed this guitar "Bionicle" (after the Lego toys, video games, comic books, etc.)... don't ask me why... I guess since daddy has named some of his guitars then he felt he should name his too.
