For Many SHredders, Les Pauls , SG's ES 300 Series have too many knobs and no Floyd factory to dive bomb upom This guy though didnt do too shabby though, I think I would rather listen to 5 minutes of him over Yngwie !

Re: shedding on a SG riffguy

I can shread on any guitar haha, yes even acoustics and classicals for i already have done so. The excuse on you can't shred on a guitar is because they can't afford one.

Scallopping a neck won't do much. As you can shread with a standard neck.

I've been doing alot of chop building stuff latley and my G&L is pure beast, but I can still easily shred just as well on my squire.

He still wails using a begginers package!

Under the same name?

I've emailed back and forth with him a couple of times last year when I was Epi Elitist hunting (he's got some great clips w/ an Elitist LP Std+) - hell of a nice guy and answered all of my questions for me. His videos are a lot of fun to watch.

Edit: Aaaah, he's never posted...

He handwinds his own pickups (he mentioned it in one of his comments).

He calls them riffbuckers!

Edit: Didn't realize how old the thread was!
