He may not be known for playing an SG or any Gibsons for that matter. But in 1969 and a little bit of 70 Jerry Garcia used one. If you know the Dead, to me 1969 was quit a year. Best know to me for some very, very Bluesy and raw soulfull songs. Hard to Handle, Lovelight, Dark Star, Good Morning Little School Girl, and my favorite from that era Viola Lee Blues. All those songs were what they were because of Jerry and his SG.

So he may not be known to most of you for an SG but the post asks and I quote

Iommi - the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place and the reason my first electric back in about '75 was a Gibson SG Special which I have always regretted having to offload when I needed to raise some money.
