Talking The New Tweedy

It's not vintage but it sure is nice. Put a new nut on and an Alnico V burstbucker in Bridge. My original '62 has a beefy sound due to it's stop bar so I was a little surprised at how "light and knarley" this one sounds. I guess the Maestro adds to that.

Re: The New Tweedy

According to the SN, this was the first of the production run. Can anyone confirm ?

Re: The New Tweedy

Nice SG, but wrong section. That said, how does the neck feel compare to your original 62?

Re: The New Tweedy

The neck is wider (top to bottom) than any Gibson neck I have, almost but not quite as shallow as the '62. The usual frets Gibson uses now. They fell a bit high to me but not too bad. The usual new guitar g string tuning probelems that will work themselves out over the next year.
You're right. I should move this post sorry. (Here's a pic to legitimize :-) )

Very nice. I absolutely love my 62. I prefer them to 61's.
