Does your Maestro arm stay tight?
I have a 65 SG Jr. that I recently re-installed the short Maestro vibrola on. The arm stays firm only for a few uses then flops around until I tighten it back up. I think it's all original (plastic washers, bolt, etc.). Any one else have that problem? Any suggestions/fix?

Re: Does your Maestro arm stay tight?
The fix is to get a nut sized appropriately to fit the bolt that holds the arm on, and screw it on from the bottom of the unit with a springy lock washer, with the arm tightened. That will keep it tight.
(I assume you have the nylon washers for around the arm, that'll help) |
