Question about an early Deluxe GT

Hey Guys
Trying to track down an axe one of my favourite guitarists uses.
I have various reports of it being a 69 or 71 Deluxe. Wonder if you can help? It has the pickup rings round it and looks to have the original tuners (pic attached).

I want to get one the same - so would really appreciate knowing (roughly) which year it is so I can go shopping

Early 70's I would say. Reflectors, goof rings, can't see the neck, is it mahogany?

Cheers, Cookie. Early 70s seems top make sense, more than a 69.
Not sure about the neck - have heard differing reports about it, from being a 69 or 71.
